How to care for cashmere

Simple steps to ensure your cashmere throws last a lifetime.

1. Comb to remove small balls of fibre from the surface.

2. Gently handwash the throw with cashmere shampoo, gentle dish soap or baby shampoo in lukewarm water. Squeeze the suds gently through the fabric without rubbing, wringing or stretching. Rinse thoroughly in lukewarm water.

3. After hand washing, you can use a short, light spin cycle in a washing machine to remove any excess water. Reshape the throw and allow to dry naturally.
